KARUDA was jointly established in 2024 by three bartenders who represent the current Osaka bar scene: Keisuke Nakaichi of Bar Satoru, Hiroyasu Nakayama of Bar Nayuta, and Asyu Yamamoto of Late Night Cafe Mansardo.How did the three meet in the first place?　What is their relationship?　And what are they planning to do with "KARUDA"?

At a time when the Minami bar scene was changing.

How did the three people who co-own KARUDA, Keisuke Nakaichi of Bar Sensei, Hiroyasu Nakayama of Bar Nayuta, and Ashu Yamamoto of Late Night Cafe Mansardo, first meet?

I think I first met Mr. Nakaichi when I went to Bar Agréable to study cocktails just as I was getting into it," said Mr. Nakayama.

"At the time, he had long hair and piercings, and I thought, 'Oh man, here he is!I thought he was a bad guy." (Mr. Nakayama)

On the other hand, Mr. Nakaichi also went to "Bar Nayuta" as a customer to smoke cigars.

"Mr. Nakaichi was dressed like a Doflamingo (laughs)," (Mr. Nakayama) <a9>
They deepened their relationship by studying cocktails and exchanging information with each other, going out for drinks as customers and welcoming each other as bartenders.

I opened BAR Sensei in 2018.It was right around the time when the atmosphere of Minami was changing.Until then, most bars were malt bars or fruit cocktail bars, but Hiro (Nakayama) and I started to do something creative.We didn't have anything to hide, and I think we became friends with each other with an open mind," says Mr. Nakaji.
