If you are a DRAINK PLANET reader, you have probably seen the name "Zentis Osaka UPSTAIRZ" around lately.　The four bartenders at Zentis Osaka UPSTAIRZ have been very active in various competitions!　We are pleased to introduce Norihiko Furuse, Tatsuya Koike, Yuji Otomo, and Shingo Kato to you.

All together, they won & placed!

Zentis again!"



This line was often heard from people in the bar industry at the end of February, 2025.



On the 24th of the same month, Tatsuya Koike, head bartender at Zentis Osaka UPSTAIRZ, won the "7th Authentic Shochu & Awamori Cocktail Competition" held by the Japan Sake Brewers Association.



Two days later, on the 26th, Shingo Kato also won third place with his "Woodford Reserve A Spectacular Discovery 2nd.



(Mr. Kato has won many championships and awards in the past!)



The previous year, in 2024, bar manager Norihiko Furuse advanced to the Diageo World Class 2024 Japan Final.



(Mr. Furuse won the Refreshing category in the same competition in 2022!)



Yuji Otomo, who also serves as a barista, won the Grand Champion at the Remy Martin Bartender Talent Academy 2024 Japan Competition.



(First time in the competition, and suddenly he is the winner!)



In the past few years, the four bartenders belonging to Zentis Osaka UPSTAIRZ have all been performing well in competitions.



No wonder people are whispering, "Zentis again?I can understand why people are whispering, "Zentis again!
