Three new entries from Japan!

The latest list of Asia's 50 Best Bars was announced on the evening of 15 July 2025. Of the 50 bars ranked 1st to 50th, 20 are new entries! Among them, we spoke with three new entries from Japan: Yagaki (25th), Punch Room Tokyo (36th), and Bar LIBRE (49th)!

As previously reported by DRINK PLANET, the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list was recently announced at Wynn Palace in Macau.

Bars in India and mainland China, which previously had a limited presence in the bar scene, have made significant strides, with an impressive 20 new entries among the top 50 bars!

The map of Asia's bar culture is being boldly rewritten, and the diversity and vibrancy of the scene are truly remarkable.

That said, the top ranks are dominated by familiar names.

For example, AKI, led by Akihiro Eguchi, "Jigger & Pony (Singapore)" maintains its position in the top 3.

Cosmo Pony (Jakarta), co-operated by Jigger & Pony Group in Jakarta, Indonesia, also made its debut at 38th place.
