Put your sommelier expertise to work!

Before focusing on BAR NAI's botanical cocktails, let's first introduce the career of owner-bartender Shigeo Kameyama.

Born and raised in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture.

His destiny began when the manager of the ramen shop where he worked part-time during his student days took him to a bar.

"I was overwhelmed by the bar, this adult space. I was even moved, thinking, 'There's a world like this that I didn't know existed.'"

That's how Kameyama described his first encounter with bars.

After graduating high school, while still dreaming of bars, he started working at a restaurant bar in Mihara City, adjacent to the west of Onomichi City.

At age 20, he began his career as a professional bartender at an authentic bar in the same Mihara City. Encouraged by the master bartender at the time, he also obtained his sommelier license.

"I studied to become a sommelier as training for my taste and smell, but as a result, that sommelier knowledge is now also useful for my plant-based cocktails."
