Unobtrusive location in a multi-tenant building.
When you get off at Hiroshima Station, the gateway to Hiroshima, the largest city in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, you will see many inbound tourists from overseas, just like in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
Perhaps because a professional baseball game between Hiroshima and the Hanshin Tigers was held on the day of my visit, there were also tourists from the Kansai region wearing Hanshin Tigers uniforms!
Hiroshima is the political and economic center of the region, and at the same time a tourist destination with two World Heritage Sites, the Atomic Bomb Dome and Itsukushima Shrine, and the largest entertainment district in Hiroshima is the Nagaregawa area.
In a corner of this entertainment district, where izakaya (Japanese-style pubs), clubs, cabarets, and gay bars line the streets, "Bar Alegre" is tucked away on the third floor of a small building.
If you don't know where it is, it's hard to find it.
Moreover, the right side of the building has a solid clay wall, the left side is a wooden wall with a burnished finish, and the front door is only chest-high, with a Japanese sword hanging above it!
(Yes, very difficult to enter!)
