Bar Alegre, a hidden bar in a small building in Hiroshima, has a guest ratio of "7 foreigners to 3 Japanese," or sometimes "8 foreigners to 2 Japanese," despite its inconspicuous location.We asked the owner-bartender Osamu Kojima directly about the reason for this.

Steadfastness as a hotel bartender!
Before delving deeper into the reasons for Bar Alegre's popularity, let us trace the background of the owner-bartender Osamu Kojima.
Mr. Kojima was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
After graduating from high school, he went to Hiroshima to work as a bellhop at a hotel in the city because he liked to interact with people.
(It was a part-time job at first.)
Later, he was assigned to a bar, which started Kojima's career as a bartender.
I was also active in the HBA cocktail competition.
"I ended up working at the hotel bar for 15 years, and I was thoroughly trained in the classic style.I ended up working in a hotel bar for 15 years, where I was thoroughly trained in the classic style.I am where I am today because of those 15 years.I feel that I have developed my 'axis' as a bartender.
