Chocolaterie & Bar ROND-POINT in Nakanosakaue, Tokyo, is a chocolaterie , but as the name says 'Bar', it actually has a bar behind a hidden door. Speakeasy with just five seats. What on earth kind of bar is it!

Popular chocolaterie in Nakanosakaue!

The Nakanosakaue area of Tokyo is a residential area with convenient access to the city centre, approximately 5 minutes by underground from Shinjuku, and a reputation for being quiet and easy to live in.

Although the area is well stocked with supermarkets, drugstores and other shops that cater to everyday needs, there are not many entertainment facilities or restaurants.

In the midst of all this, people are being sucked into one chocolatier (chocolate shop) after another on the main street.

This is Chocolaterie & Bar ROND-POINT, which opened in autumn 2021.

The stylish black-and-grey shop has glass showcases all around, in which bonbon chocolates (bite-sized chocolates), which look like little pieces of jewellery, are beautifully lined up.

Alongside praline, pistachio, vanilla and lavender chocolates, there are also mojito, smoky whisky and absinthe chocolates. ......

(Drinkers, you're in for a treat!).
