The Bangkok bar scene is now attracting international attention. Every year, four to five bars are ranked in Asia's 50 Best Bars organised by Perrier. And BKK Social Club was recently awarded Asia's Best Bar at the World's 50 Best Bars 2023 in Singapore. We spoke to Philip Bischoff, the man behind it.

From the bustling city to the relaxing interior of the hotel.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand.

With a population of 5.49 million, the metropolitan area, including neighbouring provinces, is home to more than 14 million people.

It is an energetic city with roads overflowing with cars and motorbikes, high-rise buildings and a construction boom that continues to this day.

The foundation of Bangkok's prosperity was laid in the historical district on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River.

The city's development was driven by the canal trade between the domestic and international markets based here.

The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will open at this location in February 2020.

The BKK Social Club opened its doors at the same time.

Entering the hotel grounds from the bustling streets of Bangkok and up the long driveway, the main building comes into view.

After passing through the lobby, with its high ceilings and large space, the bar you are looking for comes into view.
