Shigeyuki Nakagaki, the owner-bartender of Barossa cocktailier in Gifu, has set up a distillery to produce gin and tonic in cans. Furthermore, everything from gin to tonic water is handmade. Hearing this rumour, the Drink Planet team immediately rushed to Gifu. ......

Shigeyuki Nakagaki, owner-bartender at Barossa Cocktailier in Gifu, appeared on Drink Planet's Bar & Interview in April 2012.

About 10 years have passed since then. The year has changed from Heisei to 2025, and the world (especially the bar world) has been rapidly globalised by the internet.

Even if you live in a rural area like Nakagaki-san, you no longer feel separated from Tokyo or Osaka, and the latest information from around the world comes in real time through SNS and the media.

In the midst of all this, a pandemic caused by a new type of coronavirus suddenly struck the world.

Why did Nakagaki-san, a bartender, set up his own distillery and start brewing sake from scratch?
